After completing a fitness challenge in which Rachel presented some great talks in nutrition & exercise I decided to enrol in one of Rachel’s programs. I’ve been very lucky that I have never had a weight issue, though in past 12 months managed to go a kilo over where I felt comfortable sitting. So had a chat & signed up. I’ve never ‘dieted’ & personally don’t believes in the vast array of wild diets out there, so was relieved to hear Rachel’s philosophy on Healthy eating. We discussed my goals, set some targets & got the ball rolling. My goals was to further define my shape, & to release around 5 kg. I will be honest, I found the first week a challenge having to weigh everything, & turned out I was eating twice as much as I was supposed too... key point... READ HER BOOK!

I loved the exercise regime as was right up my ally. The food side of things, although similar to what I ate, I realised, my meal sizes were bigger than they needed to be, & the adjustments became easier. My meal sizes were adapted & I was easily coping with the calorie deficit stage & seeing results. I hit my first target heading into my 7th week of the program. I felt great. The weekly check-ins were a good accountability & Rachel was always happy to answer any questions, share recipes & look at different options. She was very supportive throughout the program.

I discovered funny little things I’d been doing without even realising it... like lots of taste tests when cooking. So awareness around those sorts of things certainly have also made a difference. I’m now able to adapt recipes to meet my macro requirements, am more than satisfied & have plenty of energy. My sleep is better & am happy with my overall consistency which I find rewarding. One of the other things I’m living is how to label read... that has been eye opening at times! My results at the end of my program blew me away. I knew that my whole body had become more defined & stronger. I released 6.4kg & 35.5cms across by body. To say I’m delighted with the results is an understatement! I am really happy that I did this with Rachel on so many levels. If you’re thinking about it, just do it.

Rachel will support & guide you the whole way. Her knowledge & approach to health & fitness is practical, healthy & sustainable. Thank you Rachel. I have never felt stronger & I love the way I feel & look. You are a little legend!

Dear Rachel,

I remember being on holidays with my family and I was just feeling deflated. Like everyone life was busy, I have 3 boys under 6 and a partner that works away in the mines. I was tired and had no energy and I was trying to exercise when I could, but my motivation was low. I had been thinking about messaging you for some time but just never did. It was not until I was on holidays with my family that I really thought about things and decided it was time to make some changes in my life and that I needed help.

I messaged you at 5am in the morning. Before I had even had a chance to delete or reconsider the message I had sent, you had written back to me straight away and we had planned to catch up when I got back from holidays. I remember our first meeting; I was so emotional and almost ashamed of how heavy I had let myself get and was overwhelmed at where to start. You never judged me, and you just listened, and we worked together on some short-term and long-term goals and made some commitments. You didn’t overload me, however gave me some great tips and ideas for recipes and different food choices.

I am due to start back at work next month so that will be another hurdle and challenge that we will face together, juggling everything and everyone and still finding time for myself but I’m sure we will work through it.

I cannot thank you enough for all your help, I look at the changes both mentally and physically over the past six months and am amazed. I still can’t believe I have lost 16.5 kilos. You genuinely care and have supported me through my progress, struggles and celebrated my success throughout my journey which I am forever grateful for.

I have loved getting to know you, I look forward to our fortnightly catch ups, planning new goals, making more changes and trying new things in the New Year.
